Family Care

Volunteer Profile: caring, servant, food preparation

The Family Care Ministry exists to provide assistance and care for church members during times of need such as childbirth, illness, or the death of a loved one. This can take many forms. Most commonly, it is organizing and delivering meals to the family to lift some of their burdens. There are several roles: cooking tasty meals, organizing the calendar, and communicating with people to follow-up and check-in. Aside from the meal service, it might look like visiting someone in the hospital or taking their toddler for half a day. It might include sending a thoughtful note a month later. It might mean mowing their lawn or weeding their garden or walking their dog. There are many ways to help a family who is going through a challenging time. If you have a passion for reaching out to your brothers and sisters in Christ and caring for those who are in a time of need, this is a good ministry to join. If you believe you match these qualifications and would like to volunteer, or would like to request more information, complete the form below and someone will get back to you shortly.
