The Worship Team is a large ministry team that serves primarily on Sunday mornings at our 10 a.m. gathering. We are passionate about creating worship experiences that allow people to see God in new ways, leading them to have a changed life through Christ. Each team member is asked to commit to serving at least one Sunday per month in one of the three following roles:
Musician/vocalist
The Worship Team is looking for people who love to express their love for God through music and are competent on their instrument (this includes vocals!). We are best able to lead others in worship when our own worship is sincere and contagious, so we are looking for people who have an engaging stage presence. Musicians and vocalists must be available to practice at home throughout the week and attend rehearsals on their designated Sunday mornings at 8 a.m.
Computer Technician
During every worship service, a technician operates Worship Extreme for the music slides as well as other components of the service so that those engaged in the service can follow along easily with the songs and speaking. We will train you to use this software. We are looking for people who are detail-oriented, focused, and able to anticipate what is coming next. Computer technicians must be available to attend rehearsals on their designated Sunday mornings at 8 a.m.
Sound Technician
The sound board operator is responsible for all music and speaker sound quality, adjusting the volumes of the service and making sure each element is heard and balanced. We will train you to use the console. We are looking for people who understand music and are critical listeners and proactive problem-solvers. Sound technicians must be able to attend rehearsals on their designated Sunday mornings at 8 a.m.
